How to prevent getting a deadly allergic reaction or other serious allergic reaction from herbal medicines, even in mild cases, is becoming increasingly important.
This week, an Australian research group found that over half of patients with serious reactions to herbal products reported that they had been exposed to them.
In the UK, research from the National Allergy Research Centre at the University of Exeter, which looked at 10,000 patients with acute allergy to herbs and their products, found that nearly half had suffered a serious allergic response to the products, and about half of those had had to be hospitalised.
These patients were exposed to more than 300 herbal medicines in their lifetime, including many popular brands, and over a third had developed symptoms such as eczema, eczematous rash, and severe skin reactions, according to the research.
A new UK study by a team led by Professor Andrew Pritchard from the University’s Institute of Allergy and Immunology in Newcastle found that while allergic reactions to products are common in the UK and worldwide, people with chronic allergic conditions are particularly likely to develop these reactions.
He says it is important to understand the triggers of these reactions, including how to prevent them.
“What is important for us to understand is the role of environmental factors in triggering these reactions,” says Pritdale.
“The idea is that it’s a combination of things like allergens in the environment and the ingredients in the product.
It’s not that we’re all allergic to everything, it’s that we react differently to things.”
He explains that while the main cause of allergic reactions is to the body’s own immune system, there are also other things such as toxins, toxins in the air, and the presence of certain chemicals in the plant itself.
“There’s a lot of research out there showing that there are things like pesticides, allergens, chemicals in plant-based products and also chemicals in animal products,” he says.
“It’s a complex system.
There’s lots of things that can go wrong and a lot that can be helped by the products themselves.”
Professor Pritbey says the main thing to look out for when buying herbal medicines is that they are not all available in the same form, and they all contain different ingredients.
“When it comes to ingredients, there’s no set rule, and it depends on where you buy it and what your allergies are,” he explains.
“This type of reaction is also referred to as a sensitisation reaction,” he adds. “
“You have this very severe allergic reaction that you can’t get out of your system and you need to get to the doctor.” “

“You have this very severe allergic reaction that you can’t get out of your system and you need to get to the doctor.”
He says if you think you have one of these allergies, it is best to get tested and treated.
“For a chronic or severe reaction, I would say you’d want to get a specialist allergy testing service like a specialist allergic clinic, a specialist dermatologist, a dermatologist who has a specialist knowledge of allergy,” he suggests.
“But for a less severe reaction like eczemi, that would be fine, just go see a specialist.
If you’re allergic to a certain kind of plant or herb, then you need specialist advice.”
It is important, however, to note that if you are concerned about your reaction, it could be best to do some research before deciding whether to buy an herbal product.
“A lot of people are allergic to some of the ingredients that we use, and so you need a bit more research before you go and buy it,” says Professor Protchard.
‘The use of chemicals is dangerous’ Professor Pritchard says that while he is aware that many people are getting allergic reactions from herbal products, he believes the main issue is not the chemicals, but the “the use of those chemicals”. “
In general, it makes sense to be very careful when buying products.”

“These chemicals are not necessarily harmful, they just come into contact with your body and there’s a chemical reaction that develops,” he explained.
That’s not necessarily to say that they’re safe, they’re not necessarily going to do anything that they shouldn’t do, but they don’t necessarily
